“National City Baseball Trivia Challenge” Contest Rules

HOW TO ENTER

The “National City Baseball Trivia Challenge” contest will begin on Monday, March 10th, 2008 and end on Sunday, March 31st, 2008.

To participate in the contest, you may enter via the following method(s): log onto www.670thescore.com, and click on the “National City Baseball Trivia Challenge” icon on The Score’s home web page. Listeners will enter the contest via answering a series of 10 questions about their favorite team (Chicago White Sox or Chicago Cubs). The test will automatically score the contest. Those that receive a perfect score will be entered into a drawing where the station will choose 2 lucky listeners (qualifiers) as the “Ultimate Fan” for their team and will be invited to attend WSCR’s live broadcast on April 8th at Baseball Appreciation Day in Daily Plaza on April 8th, 2008. At the event, the two winners (qualifiers) will go head to head in more baseball trivia, resulting in one winner being crowned. WSCR-AM is not responsible for entries not received due to difficulty accessing the internet, service outage or delays, computer difficulties or other technological glitches

ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS

The contest is open to all WSCR listeners who are 18 years of age or older and who legally reside in the Chicagoland area. Employees of WSCR, its licensee, its corporate parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, its advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other radio stations in the Chicago metropolitan area and the members of their immediate families and/or households are ineligible to participate or win.

Listeners are eligible to win a WSCR on-air giveaway only once every sixty days and a prize valued over $600 only once every six months. Only one winner per household is permitted in any contest.

By participating in the contest, the winner agrees to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting materials relating to this contest, without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of this prize.

Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, WSCR in its sole discretion may require giveaway winners to sign a liability release agreeing to hold WSCR, its corporate licensee, its parent, subsidiary, and affiliated corporations and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents, and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.

Contestants are required to provide truthful information and the Station will reject and delete any entry that it discovers to be false or fraudulent. The Station will disqualify any entry from individuals who do not meet the eligibility requirements, and the Station will also delete any entry received from persons under the age of 13 in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.

3. PRIZES

a. Two lucky qualifiers will be chosen as the “Ultimate Fan” for their team and will be invited to attend WSCR’s live broadcast on April 8th at Baseball Appreciation Day. Qualifiers will win a pair of tickets to an upcoming Sox/Cubs game at U.S. Cellular Field. At the event, the qualifiers will go head to head in additional baseball trivia (grand finale event) where the contestant that answers the most correct questions will win the grand prize consisting of a trip for two (2) for one of the following games: Chicago Cubs vs. Los Angeles Dodgers in Los Angeles the week of 6/5-6/8/08 or Chicago White Sox vs. New York Yankees in New York the week of 9/15-9/18/08. All trips will include 2 tickets to 1 game, round trip air and hotel accommodations.

b. The winners must live within the greater Chicago area.

c. All prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the office of WSCR—AM. The winner will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed within seventy-two hours (72) of winning. In the event that a prize or prize certificate is mailed to the winner, it will be with the prior written consent of the winner and therefore, winner assumes the risk of its loss. WSCR-AM is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate.

d. Note: There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes, except that Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash due to prize unavailability or where required by law. The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed above and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses. Other restrictions may apply.

4. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION

Decisions of WSCR-AM management with respect to the contest are final.

Qualifiers will be determined on March 31st, 2008 where The Score will contact the qualifiers to inform them of winning the qualifying round. At that time, qualifiers will be directed with information on the final event held on April 8, 2008.

5. CONDITIONS

a. Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winners. Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent.

b. By participating in the contest, the winner or winners agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize.

c. Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, WSCR in its sole discretion may require contest winners (and their travel companions, if any) to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold WSCR, its corporate licensee, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated corporations, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.

d. WSCR reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize or equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement. If due to circumstances beyond the control of WSCR, the “National City Baseball Trivia Challenge ” is delayed, rescheduled, postponed or cancelled, WSCR reserves the right, but not the obligation, to cancel or modify the contest and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.

e. Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification solely at the discretion of WSCR.

f. WSCR is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest, or in the announcement of a prize.
